Refund & Dispute Policy

Opening a dispute

If an item does not arrive, arrives damaged, or is not as described, the buyer can report a problem from the order page, or email support@coinshop.fun with the order number, before the payout is released. Opening a dispute pauses the automatic payout. Include photos, tracking, shipping receipts and any messages with the seller.

Resolution

The buyer and seller can message each other in the dispute. coinshop reviews the evidence, including tracking and shipping receipts, and may release the funds to the seller or refund the buyer from escrow. We reply to support emails within 6 hours.

One appeal

Either the buyer or the seller may appeal a dispute decision once, within 24 hours of the decision, by using the Appeal button on the order page or emailing support@coinshop.fun with the order number and any new evidence. coinshop reviews the appeal and its decision on the appeal is final.

Refunds

Fees aren't refunded on dispute refunds: the 2% buyer fee, the seller fee and the $2 listing fee are kept. The refund is the amount held in escrow, paid in USDC. The buyer and seller fees are sent to coinshop when the buyer's payment is received (the listing fee when the listing is published) and are non-refundable, except where required by law. The same applies when a refund follows an appeal.

Automatic release

Physical items: funds release when the buyer confirms arrival or 48 hours after tracked delivery. Digital items: funds release when the buyer confirms or 24 hours after the seller sends the item.
